At the Sterling Miss USA pageant under the direction of Mrs. Didi Henry this past weekend, I had the experience of a lifetime. No, I didn’t gain the title I had hoped for, but I gained so much more. Contestants were given to opportunity to speak publicly about volunteering, interview with a panel of distinguished judges, display their talent, be recognized for success in academics, gain friendships, and the list goes on.
