There she is…in New Haven County
Miss Connecticut Class of 2016 is filling up. Trenee McGee was crowned Miss New Haven County at the pageant held at the Foot Square Theater on Sunday, January 31st. Nine women competed for the local title, in the competition that was open to women between the ages of 17 to 24 from across the state.
The scholarship competition included five phases – private interview, lifestyle and fitness, evening gown; talent and on-stage question. McGee’s favorite part of competition was “girls because all the girls were so welcoming and we had a great time”, she said.
McGee will be competing for the Miss Connecticut pageant in June.
